The GPS Centre was recently commissioned by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) to investigate attitudes towards the role of women in Ukraine. This is a small project in the form of a survey, to be conducted by the end of 2024.

On 6 December the GPS Centre hosted a closed roundtable event on the topic of Children Born out of War in Bosnia, in relation to the UiO Human rights award.

On 17 June Norwegian members of the Nordic Women Mediators Network met with Dr Tetiana Kyeslova to learn more about her engagement in the Ukraine Community of Practice for Mediators.

On February 9, 2024, the Columbia Institute of Global Politics (IGP) and the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) co-hosted an event titled "Addressing and Preventing Conflict-Related Sexual Violence".
