The European External Action Service’s Peace, Partnerships, and Crisis Management Directorate and the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments hosted the EU CoP at the Sofitel in Place Jourdan, Brussels. The event brought together a global network of policymakers, practitioners, experts, and civil society representatives dedicated to advancing peace mediation. Since its inception in 2019, the EU CoP has become a flagship event for peace mediation, fostering discussions on mediation practices, support for peace processes, and sharing knowledge and best practices. By facilitating these exchanges, the EU CoP aims to support participants in refining their approaches and developing more effective mediation strategies. PRIO’s participation underscores its commitment to collaborative international efforts to improve peace and conflict mediation practices.
