On 3-6 April GPS Centre Director, Torunn L. Tryggestad, attended the annual convention of the International Studies Association (ISA) in San Francisco. She co-organised a roundtable on ‘Feminist foreign policy: Nordic hegemony in decline?’ and contributed to a roundtable on ‘The Future of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda: Gaps, New Directions, and Opportunities’, organised by colleagues at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS).   ISA represents 100 countries, and with over 6,500 members the aim is to connect scholars, practitioners and students from around the globe to discuss topics pertaining to international studies and relations.
